Farewell to Warm Stone . . .

January 1, 2012

After 10 exciting and rewarding years, Warm Stone Studio closed it's doors on December 31, 2011.  During it's time, Warm Stone was a place of great community and exchange of ideas.  And I am deeply grateful for having been a part of that.  But as with everything, times change, circumstances change and dreams shift.  I have decided to open a smaller studio and focus exclusively on my own work and will no longer be teaching.  And though it's sad to let go of Warm Stone, I am very excited for this new chapter and look forward to pursuing new ideas in clay.

If you would like to get in touch with me you can reach me via email at my new studio Purple Pear Pottery, which as luck would have it will be on the 3rd Floor of the Picker Building in the Nashua Millyard.  Purple Pear Pottery will still be participating in local arts such as the Nashua Art Walk and other community events.

And if you looking for classes in the area, a wonderful new studio has opened up in Manchester NH that you should check out.  It's called 550 Arts and is run by the talented Monica Leap.  You can find them at www.550arts.com.

Thank you to everyone who made Warm Stone such a wonderful place to be over the last 10 years and I hope to see you all in the future.

Best,
Leslie Maloof
